However, when a photo-radar camera mounted on the side of the road tries to take a picture of your tag, 2-3 letters and numbers will be blurred. Fox News called it "surprisingly effective." Super Shield on the other hand has a strong silver (mirror) reflection when viewed from an angle. Ans. We recommend that you use the PhotoBlocker™ Spray in conjunction with the PhotoShield™ license plate cover. First, spray your tag with PhotoBlocker™ spray to protect you from unjust tickets issued by cameras that use FLASH . After it has dried, attach your tag back on to your vehicle and put the PhotoShield™ cover over it. The cover will protect the spray coating from debris, scratches and most of all it will protect you from cameras that do not use FLASH.
